IBPS Clerk Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2018

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is conducting IBPS Clerk 2018 exam to select candidates for the clerical cadre in multiple Government as well as Public Sector banks all over the country. IBPS Clerk exam 2018 begins tomorrow across the country. The examination will be conducted on December 8,9,15 and 16 2018. IBPS Clerk Exam 2018 is conducted to fill up 7275 Clerk posts across the nation. Candidates who have applied and shortlisted for the post can appear for the examination at various centres across the nation. Before appearing for the examination, candidates need to take up few important tips to crack the exam. IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam Pattern.

IBPS Clerk Syllabus 2018 is very much same as any other Bank Exam, with a preliminary exam and a mains examination. Both these examinations will be conducted bilingually i.e, in both English and in Hindi.

IBPS Prelims 2018 Exam Pattern

As usual, the prelims exam will have three sections. The sections you  need to be an expert on to ace IBPS Clerk 2018 Preliminary Exam are:

  • Reasoning
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • English Language

The IBPS Clerk preliminary examination will be conducted online for a duration of 1 hour.

Penalty for wrong answers:

There will be negative marking in both prelims and mains examination. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. There will not be any penalty for unattended or unanswered questions.
