IBPS PO Recruitment 2019  Exam Pattern

The exam pattern was recently updated by IBPS and the preliminary examination is divided into  three sections namely  English Language , Numerical Ability and Reasoning ability .

Each section is now timed separately and there is separate cut off for each section, so it is important to know each section.

Total duration of the exam will be 1 hour and will have 100 questions with each question carrying 1 mark and every wrong answer having a penalty of 0.25 marks. Section wise details are mentioned in the table below:

Unlike the preliminary exam , the mains exam contains 5 sections and a candidate can score upto 225 marks . The mains exam is also conducted online . Section wise details are provided in the table below :

IBPS PO 2019 Exam Dates

The preliminary exams will be conducted on 13th, 14th, 20th, and 21st October 2018.

The mains will be on 18th November 2018.
