JEE 2019 final schedule released: registration starts on September

The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main exam is conducted for admissions to BE, BTech, and BArch courses across the country.  from next year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is taking over the organizing of the JEE Mains.  As everyone is aware, JEE will be conducted twice a year from 2019. The best of the two scores will be considered for ranking. The registration for the examination is scheduled to begin on September 1. You can find the official notification on the official site of NTA,  nta.ac.in

The first exam, JEE MAINS I will be conducted on January 2019, over a period of two weeks, from January 6-20. You can register for this exam from September 1 to September 30. The MAINS I results will be published by January 31, 2019.

The second exam, JEE Mains II is scheduled to be conducted on 6th – 20th April 2019. Since the exams are conducted in 8 sittings, you can choose a date to appear for the exam. You can start applying for the exam from 8th February to 7th March 2019. The MAINS II results are expected to come out on 30th April 2019.

JEE admit card download:

You can download admit cards from the site on December 17, 2018.

Cutoff marks:

A score of at least 75 percent in Class 12 board exams or a place among the top 20 percentile of the Boards is required to be eligible for JEE main or advanced. For SC/ST categories, the cutoff has been lowered to 65 percent.

How to apply for JEE:

  1. Log into the official website nta.ac.in
  2. Fill in the application form and note down the system generated application number
  3. Upload scanned images of candidates’ photograph (between 10 kb – 200 kb) and candidates’ signature (between 4kb – 30 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
  4. Make payment of fee using SBI_MOPS and keep proof of the fee paid.
  5. Print at least four copies of the confirmation page after successful remittance of fee.

Note: The email id and mobile number should be candidates’ own since all updates communicated via registered id and mobile number.
