Karnataka PSC Syllabus : First Division and Second Division Assistant Post

Every year, Karnataka PSC conducts FDA SDA examinations to recruit people to first division and second division assistant posts in the government sector. Candidates are shortlisted for the further rounds of the selection procedure ( Personal Interview (PI) and Document Verification (DV)), based on their FDA /SDA score. The various perks associated with job being in the government sector makes it all the more an appealing job profile.

The eligibility criteria for KPSC First and Second Division Assistants are:

  • Senior Assistant: Graduation or Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Junior Asst: – Intermediate (12 Class) or 2nd PUC or ITI Certificate or Three (03) Year Diploma.
  • Minimum 18 years and Maximum 35 years with an age relaxation of 5 years given to SC/ST Candidates and 3 years for 2A/2B/3A/3B Category.

Exam Pattern and selection procedures for KPSC FDA/SDA

KPSC recruits the candidates to the post based on the Preliminary exam, main exam and personality test. The exam will be conducted online and is divided into three parts –  descriptive type paper 1, and objective type paper 2 which will consists of two parts. The exam pattern is given below
