Tamil Nadu PSC Group 2A Syllabus and Exam Pattern

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission is soon to announce the notification for recruitment in the Group 2A posts. Exam Pattern

The Group 2A Preliminary Examination is an exam of 3 hours duration comprising of questions from 1) General Studies 2) Aptitude and Mental Ability Test 3) General Tamil/ General English. There shall be 200 questions and the questions shall be allotted among each category as follows.

  • General Studies – 75 Questions (Of Degree Standard)
  • Aptitude and Mental Ability Test – 25 Questions (Of SSLC Standard)
  • General English /General Tamil – 100 Questions (Of SSLC Standard)

As far as the language part is concerned, the candidate can opt for either General English or General Tamil.
